Ranveer Singh is the most wanted actor in the film industry and every director wants to cast him in their next projects. Ranveer Singh has aa handfu of movies for which he is prepping this year. After his blockbuster success Padmavat, the actor started shooting for his upcoming movie Gully Boy alongside Alia Bhatt which is being directed by Zoya Akhtar. In this movie, Ranveer will play the role of a rapper and he had completed his shooting for Gully Boy a few months back and started shooting for Rohit Shetty’s Simmba. He shot for the first schedule of the film in Hyderabad with co-star Sara Ali Khan which is her second film in B’town.
As we already told you Ranveer has an amazing lineup of the movies which also includes his recent signed projects Karan Johar’s Takht and Kabir Khan’s 83.
Director Kabir Khan is all ready to make a film on 1983 World Cup win for India in which Ranveer Singh will be seen portraying the role of Indian Cricketer and former Caption Kapil Dev. The film will showcase how the Indian cricket team under the leadership of Kapil Dev defeated West Indies in the final of the World Cup in 1983. When the film was announced, Ek Tha Tiger’s director Kabir Khan brought all the legends under one roof and had introduced Ranveer Singh as the main lead. Ranveer Singh had then said that it is his honour to be a part of the film.
The actor and director Ranveer Singh and Kabir Khan are in London and the preparations of the movie has begun now.
Recently, Ranveer Singh was being clicked with Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar and Kabir Khan at Lord’s stadium. Ranveer took to the Instagram official looking all dapper in a Saffron blazer. He captioned the picture as, “Sachin was 9 years old when he saw on television Kapil’s Devils win the World Cup in 1983 right here at this ground. That win inspired him to want to play for India. 35 years later we kick off the prep for our film 83 at the Lords… Can’t get better than this can it?”

He also posted a picture of himself from the same making us crazy for him looking all sexy with glares and his mustache on point and wrote, “Rain Rain go away.”
