Bollywood’s star kid and upcoming sensation Janhvi Kapoor is all over the headlines these days. Though she had always been one of the Paparazzi’s favourite child, but she got a lot more coverage after she signed her first Bollywood project last year. The 21-year-old actress who always dreamt of making a career in Bollywood is waiting for the release of her debut film ‘Dhadak’ which will hit the screens on 20 July.
Jahnvi, who grew up in a family of stars, was always fond of acting and dancing. In an interview with a leading daily, she recalls an incident from last decade from the sets of Salman Khan’s film ‘Wanted’ which was produced by her dad Boney Kapoor.
Janhvi tells the leading daily, “Once when I visited the sets of Wanted, Prabhudeva was rehearsing a dance sequence with Salman Khan. I was around 10 or 12 then. I crept into the room where the dancing was taking place. I was so fond of dancing that I couldn’t resist myself. I stood in the corner, swaying to the beats of the song.
She further said, “I was busy enjoying dancing and didn’t realise Salman had spotted me. He called me and asked me to dance in the middle of the room. I went ahead and danced happily, while the others stood around me. Back then I thought they were all appreciating my moves but when I think about it today, I’m so embarrassed!”
She added, “God knows what they would have been thinking!”
Well, we guess Salman was impressed by her back then and will be impressed with her debut as well. We can’t predict that Salman may choose Jahnvi as her love interest in upcoming films in next few years.
Talking about ‘Dhadak’, it is the official remake of hit Marathi film ‘Sairat’. The film is directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced under the banner of Karan Johar.
